I am currently a senior at the University of Washington majoring in zoology
(animal behavior).  I am seeking a summer field position preferrably working
with mammals.

I have worked in various full-time positions as a biological technician in
fisheries with Redwood National Park in the California redwoods, as a
research assistant livetrapping pine martens in the Uinta wilderness of Utah,
and as a GIS (Geograghical Information System) technician with Geomatics
International.  In addition, I have worked in several part-time jobs such as
snorkel surveying for summer steelhead and golden trout with California
Department of Fish and Game, as a lab technician on the campus biology lab
and for the foodhabits lab for the Marine Mammal Lab of NOAA.  I am currently
working with two UW graduate students with their research.

Many of these jobs have been in the backcountry or wilderness areas, therefore
I feel comfortable working long hours in adverse conditions.  I will be
available from June 11 to September 15. I hope you will consider me for a
