Amen, brother. The Harvard environment abounds with Mac's. I have never understood the arrogant jerks who tout their PC's as being better simply because they are less user friendly than Mac's. It is like insisting that Boston is a great place to drive because the traffic and drivers are so bad. I use Mac's, PC's, and Sun's and have found each to have strengths and weaknesses. The Mac is an outstanding computer and my own choice for spectral analysis, graphics, and word processing - 90% of what I do. Anyway, we should be applauding those who create software for any computing platform instead of going out of our way to criticize them. (What software have you written and distributed lately, "Uncle Al"?) I welcome software written for the Mac platform. We need more, not less. - Kenneth R.
