           is also a place for tutors, instructors
           and family members to find out more

           all of the problems of illiteracy.

           adult students of reading and writing
           can find out about each other's work.
           Learning groups can make contact with
           each other here. People and corporations
           can find out about local, national and
           international literacy organizations
           worth supporting with their time and
           money.

           alt.literacy.adult is not moderated
           and any topic related to adults, reading
           and writing is okay. Talk about power
           politics and justice is welco�m%>�me. Students
           and others may share their stories and
           experiences freely here and it is hoped
           many interesting writings will be sent
           to alt.literacy.adult for everyone to
           read .
