MAKE YOUR OWN MASS-DRIVER
A mass driver is an electromagnetic accelerator. It can be used
to launch lunar materials from the surface of the moon to an orbit-
ing space station.
Create your own mass-driver using simple copper wire and flash-
light batteries! Space Studies Institute is offering easy-to-
follow instructions prepared by former SSI Executive Vice Presi-
dent, Dr. Richard G. Woodbridge, III.
This is an excellent addition to lesson plans on electromagnetic
