I ran unshielded catagory 5 lan cable through a building past fluorecent lighting, and electrical cables with great success, and it wasn't expensive (1000' for <$100, Alberta price). Maybe there's a way to incorporate its use in this application. Ideas anyone? I do realize some of these electric fencers run at least a couple of KV, enough to throw a little field a short distance. Keeps the cows off the fence, anyway!
