Yep, I can see it now. All us rocket pilots with heavy duty versions of
kids little pinwheel doohickys mounted all over the front end of a car.
Legislators claiming pinwheels are a hazard to ordinary citizens and trying
to ban sale and possesion of them. The NPA (national pinwheel assotiation)
claiming thats unconstitutional, then disbanding when it's pointed out that
nowhere in the constitution does it say the right to keep and bear pinwheels
shall not be abridged. Polititions, in an attempt to avoid pissing off
anyone, try to ban "assault pinwheels", then get tangled up in their
underwear trying to define one. Newspaper editors claim pinwheels with more
than 3 blades, or that have blades with a more than 20 degree angle have
no use in a speed-limit-abiding society. Dan Rather gets into an on-air
argument with Mr Rogers over banning pinwheels with quick-change blades.
Meanwhile, all us !law-abiding rocket pilots simply invent some other
device to foil laser speed traps, not because we feel we need them, but
we enjoy the spectacle of uninformed zealots who are convinced they're right
making fools out of themselves.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You're kidding, right?

Actually, I think I'd be kind of worried about the owners potential liability
over shining laser beams all over the place. Those things can be dangerous,
and if they ain't, some lawyer somewhere will file a lawsuit anyway. Unless
you live in LA, there's a big difference between a battleground and a
freeway.

This doesn't have much to do with electronics, but I couldn't resist and
I don't dare stick this in rec.humor or alt.flame. Sorry. Also, my
dictionary is in the office so my spelling sucks.
