On the topic of IR cameras - my brother in law just purchased a camera and s/ware for his IR thermography business. Used, it cost $80K CDN, or about $60K US. I have often wondered about the CCD amateur astronomy cameras. A little bit of filtering, a little bit of tweaking, a little bit of lens work, and presto..... Cheers / Mark
