Hello,
I am currently working on a program to rotate a bitmap image using
the very simple transformation alogorithm. However, after compiling my C
program, I discovered that it takes 2 minutes to rotate a 64x64 image!!!
I figure later that the main reason for the slow performance of my program
is due to the fact that I am using simple sine and cosine functions to
manipulate floating point numbers...that is why it took so long.
If there is anyone out there who can offer me some suggestions to
getting my program run faster...please email me. I am currently using
Microsoft C ver 7.00 compiler and 386 machine. Thanx!
