Our radiology department is looking to purchase a slide scanner for transferring mammography slides to a Mac Quadra. The only constraints to our situation appear to be 2000dpi or greater resolution and $6000(?) budget. We have limited information from several manufacturers: Agfa, RasterOps, Microtek, Leaf, Ektron, Barneyscan, Santos, Hasselblad, Mitsubishi... But we could really use some testimonials and/or advice from experienced sources. Much thanks. Rob (goldberg@umdnj.edu)
