I am trying to locate any research that evaluates the effectiveness/validity of standard segmentation processes (i.e. region growing, split and merge, thresholding, clustering) --- in the context of *Remotely Sensed* imagery (i.e. Landsat, Spot, various airborne things). I am similarly interested in an evaluation of edge detection in remote sensing. Can anyone help ?
