Japanese Linguist Overview  (In-House and Freelance)

SimulTrans, located in Mountain View California, is a leading
translation company  serving diverse technology , medical, and
engineering firms.    We currently seek in-house and free-lance Japanese
Linguists.

Position Description:  Translate technical texts, localize software
interfaces, and use translation tools,  provide quality control, compile
glossaries, and advise clients.

Qualification:
� Linguists must have native fluency in the target language. 
� Two years experience in written Japanese translation from English
� Competence in SW manual Translations
� Experience with Japanese key inputting
� Understanding of two or more Japanese applications
� Eager to learn new tasks and new Software
� Willingness to work under extreme time pressure
� Knowledge of  MS-Word and Excel
� Meticulous
� User of references
