Instead of spending money on projects like that which few people use, why
not just improve the bus service and offer incentives for people to take
a bus instead of driving? Some lines quit running as early as 7PM, which
makes it almost impossible to go to movies or concerts; I was forced to miss
area appearances by Salif Keita & Angelique Kidjo because the busses wouldn't
run late enough.

Every city needs public transportation, since not everyone is willing or able
to drive. The planners & city government here is just plain wrong in their
assumption that everyone drives and we don't want or need alternatives.
