In the long run what measurable difference does it make to your situation
if it was a hoax or real?

If it was a hoax then you would expect to see ..., you would not
expect to see..
If it was not a hoax then you would expect to see ..., you would not
expect to see..
(fill in the blanks)
How would hoaxers benefit?
How do those who assert it was a hoax benefit?

The main thing against all conspiracies is there is always, eventually,
a leak, a paper trail , tourists want to visit or someone tries to replicate
the results. Just look at the large corporations, billion dollar black holes
with no results have a habit of swallowing all around them within a few
years.

It made no sense to send men to the moon at that time,
it was and is dangerous , expensive and of no scientific purpose.
It was a public relations exercise, so all the above hold no weight.

As the conspiracy theorists pack up their digital videos in their
velcro bags check their email and call HQ on the mobile phone
they can be sure there is no evidence supporting a moon landing.
