Better late than never: A happy new year to all of you! Has anybody any experience in simulating the magnetic behavior of ferromagnetic material in magnetic fields? MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation offers an analysis system (MSC/EMACS). - Who works with this system? - Are there other systems on the market? - Which are the pros and cons of those systems? In particular, I'm interested in modelling ferromagnetic properties, so - How does the hysteresis loop pass into the simulation system? - How do they deal the shape dependency of the magnetization curve? I would be thank you for any information which puts me on the right track. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dipl.-Phys.
