Hi, since I' m not a statistician my question will not be very well formed and perhaps naive. I' ve heard about software for so-called CLUSTER ANALYSIS. This software is used for data classification and analysis. I' ve seen an application in marketing: the result of a market survey was submitted to this software and the result produced was a partition of the sample in classes. I do not know if cluster analysis is the right name for this but hope the idea is clear enough. What kind of software (also public domain!) is available for this kind of task? Any help is appreciated. Matteo
