[ Note, I recently posed this same question to Tom Potter ] Imagine if the earth were much, much denser so that that the frequency of a transmition from Houston to astronauts on the moon was halved ( due to the climb out of the gravity well ) causing the duration of the transmition to be doubled. Would you agree that the astronauts' clocks ( compared to Houston's clocks ) would tick twice as fast ?
