You don't have to resort to that sort of dramatic playout. Just look
back over, for instance, the last 50 centuries

Your "upward trend line" is now revealed as one of many statistical
fluctuations, and a rather unspectacular one at that. Indeed, the
current "peaking" fits quite well with the periodicity established over
the las 50 centuries. There is nothing to suggest it will exceed any of
the previous "highs" nor be any more enduring. Even if it *does* end up
peaking higher, there's nothing to attach any causal significance to it,
nor to imply any negative effects from it.

Like I've said, try looking at the bigger picture - not just the bit
*they* want you to see, over the last few hundred years.
