A post-doctoral position is available to study the molecular
mechanisms of V(D)J recombination. This position involves
characterizing the composition and function of protein-DNA complexes
that support the initiation of V(D)J recombination using a variety of
approaches (for examples, see Immunity 9, 115-125, 1998; Mol. Cell.
Biol. 19, 3674-3683, 1999; Mol. Cell. Biol. 21, 449-558, 2001). The
applicant should possess a strong background in molecular biology,
molecular immunology or biochemistry; experience with cell
transfection techniques is desirable. Please send a curriculum vitae
and the names of three references (include contact information).
