In the group of Meir Lahav and Leslie Leiserowitz (Dept. of Materials
and
Interfaces, the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot 76100, Israel) a
post-doctoral position is available for studying solid-liquid
interfaces.

Topics include (a) selective adsorption of organic molecules and
Langmuir films on the ice surface to probe the structure of pre-melted
water, (b) adsorption of amino acids on mineral surfaces (c) chemical
reactions at surfaces of organic crystals.

A main experimental tool will be grazing incidence X-ray diffraction to
be
performed at DESY, Hamburg, Germany.

We are looking for a person with a background in general
crystallography and X-ray scattering. Interested candidates should write
