  Well there can be several reason for the blocakge
 and a few of the things we do to prevent or cure them are:

We attach a thin nylon mesh on the end of 
 the pipe in the dewar.

Once ice block occurs, then warm up the system and blow dry air
 thru it till it is absolutely dry.

finally and maybe? this is why it started 2 weeks ago.
Albama become more warm and humid (its a long shot).
then a dehumidifier or moving to Minnesota might help.
