New additions to the website at:
http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/david.henniker/
today include scanned 35mm negatives from 1977 as follows:

Calton Rd 1024 x 701 153K
An ultra-wide shot of Waterloo Place over Calton Rd. There's a smaller
fish-eye version in the non-Coolscan section.

Arcade 602 x 768 115K
Cockburn Street Arcade before years of neglect made the ceiling rather
less attractive than it appears here.

Scott Monument 2 1024 x 694 126K
The spiral stairway inside Walter Scott's monument.

N. View (Monument 3) 474 x 600 89K
The view north from the top of the Scott Monument.

Grassmarket 800 x 600 116K
A rare colour shot from the period.

Calton Hill Cobbles 611 x 768 189K
Looking down towards Calton Road and Leith Street, near the pedestrian
bridge over to the St James Centre.

Lady Stairs Close 858 x 768 137K
Between the top of The Mound and the High Street.

Brown 1024 x 739 200K
Brown Of The Mound. The old stationers closing down. Now it's a
drinking establishment called, I believe, The Carwash.

Castle Exit 620 x 768 160K
"Way Out" says the sign which points vertically downwards... Taken
inside Edinburgh Castle, long before you had to pay to get in.

Lady Stairs Close (0) 642 x 768 110K
Looking into the close from near Deacon Brodie's pub, if I'm not
mistaken.

Lady Stairs Close (1) 514 x 768 109K
Number Two, to be precise. The hand-painted sign is legible in the
original scan of the negative, before the size was reduced.

Waverley Exit 1024 x 695 173K
The exit ramp from Waverley Station leading up to Waverley Bridge near
its Cockburn Street end .

That's all the new Coolscan stuff for the moment. I've added another
two Coolpix 900 images to the Overseas / Swiss99 page too:

Matterhorn 1024 x 768 134K
As seen from Zermatt on a June afternoon. I took many photos but this
is the classic view.

Zmuttgletscher 1024 x 768 217K
This footpath also leads up to Schwarzsee, a tiny lake below the
Matterhorn. This view looks down to the Zmuttgletscher moraine.

Kind regards to all,
Dave Henniker.
