Twas the night after Christmas In the server room, nothing had happened all dull and in gloom. No meltdown, no failure No flak from the boss, The season is over though at a slight loss. The script kids were all nestled snug their beds, With visions of trojans run amuk in their heads. When there came a ringing The admin machine, It just found a virus and proceeded to clean. And then came the spammers with VBS hacks. The worms and the virii and IE attacks. I sat there and watched though hardly amused, We're back to what's normal and badly confused. I thank thee for Christmas and I do believe, In one day of goodness and a short reprieve. And next year I trust the spam will be light, So I can have Chistmas and not work all night. -- Jeff Liebermann 150 Felker St #D Santa Cruz CA 95060 (831)421-6491 pgr (831)426-1240 fax (831)336-2558 home http://www.cruzio.com/~jeffl WB6SSY jeffl@comix.santa-cruz.ca.us jeffl@cruzio.com

Dang, Jeff ... This was posted on xmas and is still active on my server (I'm just hesitant to delete your posts -- I know, a sickness for which there is no known cure). Yet my server seems hesitant to keep other posts to which I'd like to read (I can often see them in followups, sorta giving me the feeling that I am outta the loop .... with good cause, but for many other reasons). I think it's time for another Conspiracy Theory (tm). -- "Who we are and who we become depends, in part, on who we love." -- _A_General_Theory_Of_Love_ Thanks, Mom ______________________________________________________________ Glen Appleby glena@armory.com <HTTP://www.armory.com/~glena/>
