I am interested in nationwide efforts to collect statistics on children's services and young adult services in public libraries and school media centers. Examples include the NCECS Survey Report on Services and Resources for Young Adults in Public Libraries (July 1988) and the data elements includes in the Public Library Data Service's Statistical Report '91. Statewide efforts would also be of interest. It appears that more data collection is being done for public libraries than for school media centers. Thanks for your help. --Robert Burgin Associate Professor School of Library and Information Sciences North Carolina Central University Durham NC 27707
