True.  The mean center of population in the USA
continues to move southwest, and by 2100 it could
be in the Oklahoma City vicinity, given the migration
since 1950.  It's not just pull factors such as the climate
and on the West Coast the culture, but also push
factors (including uncivil and annoying behavior such
as we've seen from Potter, overcrowding and older,
substandard housing, and a less comfortable climate).

We know not only about continuing migration from
older, decayed, crowded, unsafe cities to suburbia,
but also where people are migrating, or "voting with
their feet" (and their vehicles' wheels).

It was 85 cents when I was living there some time ago.

I didn't enjoy Atlanta itself but moved there for the
job (too many rude, uncivil losers that were leaning
on their horns and shouting like barking dogs all the
time, that had invaded Atlanta from the Midwest and
the Northeast), and got to explore the entire Southeast
from Kentucky and northwestern Tennessee to the Gulf
Coast and New Orleans to the Virginia side of DC metro
to Key West, and I found that once outside Atlanta and
around more civilized people, it was fun to visit.

I found I enjoyed much of the Northeast.

We'll see how the Midwest (despite Potter's hatred for
Southeasterners, St. Louis and much of Missouri are indeed
Midwestern) is and what it has to offer while I'm here;
I'll be heading up and out as far as around the UP and
to Winnipeg on my road trips, and later this winter will
also visit the part of old Dixie south of St. Louis such as
the Ozarks, and later heading as far as New Orleans and
the Gulf Coast when it gets extra cold.  Just made it here
and I've been past Cleveland and southern Michigan to
Chicagoland and onward, as far as Kansas City and to
the northern part of the Ozarks.
