Any help with the following help would be greatly apprecited:

-recently I've noticed that if I leave my computer on for a while
without using it, when I go to use it again, it's like my computer is
acting is slow motion (ie. screen saver barely moves, mouse moves
slowly, computer acts slowly, etc). Also, I seem to get a lot of
messages saying that the system is dangerouly low in resources.

Any ideas out there?

thanks in advance

Sounds to me like your power management is activated and the system is
having a hard time 'waking back up'. I'd at least go into power mgmt on the
diskdrive and de-activate that. See how it runs for a couple days and then
perhaps turn it off completely from the bios if that doesn't seem to help.

MICROS~1 bit rot at work, do not disturb.

Maybe a memory leak in the srceen-saver? Try a different one.

It sounds like power management to me also. Your CPU can reclock at lower
speeds to save power (must save alot of watts ?????). It sounds as if your
PC is having trouble 'waking up' and this is probably due to the hardware.
If I were you, I would set my power management to the most basic settings
possible, or even disable it completely, unless of course you really need
it. I have found power managemnt on some hardware to cause all sorts of
problems that usually reslut in poor reliablitiy.
