The Megalink between Sydney amd Canberra went down at 14:34 on Tuesday. It is still down now. Telecom inform us that it is due to a :- "Major Optical Fibre problem at Bowral" It is affecting phone connections as well. rossc -- ________________________________________________________________________ Ross Rodney Cartlidge | rossc@ucc.su.oz.au Information Services, H08 | Phone: +61 2 6923491 University of Sydney, NSW 2006, Australia | FAX: +61 2 6606557

The AARNet link between Sydney amd Canberra went down at about 1:30pm today (Wednesday, Dec 2nd) Telecom reported that the optic fiber was cut again at Bowral. I assume, based on the time it took to fix it yesterday, the link will not be up until late tonight.
