Just the fact that America hasn't wised up and developed a real energy
policy. And we don't plan to, either!

So, a while back I got a little annoyed and posted some hyperbolic
statments here; people became annoyed and suggested that I was posying
emotional drivel, instead of reasoned arguments.

The last poster remarked that, if the US ever pulled any Saddam-like
tricks, he hoped the UN would stop us too. When I pointed out some
cases (Central/South America) where the US had been censured by the UN
and ignored the grievances...and had run interference for Israel, so that
they wouldn't have UN resolutions on record for their invasion/shelling
of Lebanon...I was met by deafening silence.

Shall I post some items again, pointing out the US's interference and
military actions that have met with UN disapproval? Are there different
rules for US?
