If people are so worried about rare sucker fish and wild pumas
and the like why don't they set up fish farms to raise thousands
of sucker fish? Why don't they raise pumas in cages? Chickens
are raised in cages and we aren't running out of chickens. If
you want an animal to survive forever domesticate it. Raise
elephants on farms, have 200 hundred kangaroo rat running
around wheels in cages making electricity for California.

Or would the NIMBYs not want a warthog farm next door to them?
