I have this one friend who ADMANTLY doesn't give a damn about polution or global warming or any of that stuff. She voted for Bush twice, and says she'd do it again. For her, it's not about the wars or the Muslims or terrorism or religion or any of that stuff. For her it's all about what her tax rate TODAY is. She's in her fourties with no kids - because she hates kids. Ask her about the future and she says she won't be there and doesn't care. From what I've seen, in that respect, she's got a LOT of company in the Liberterian/Republican community. Y'all seem to have NO problem mortgaging the future.
