On February 1, 1994, the Ozone Transport Commission will be voting on the concept of adopting the California low emission vehicle standard, complte with electric vehicle sales mandates, in the 12 states frome Virginia to Maine, plus the District of Columbia Please call now to the officals below to urge them to vote YES for the Cal LEV requirements. This would expand the market for electric vehicles enormously, thus driving down the cost of EVs as more are produced, at the same time that it helps clean up the air cost-effectively, reduce oil imports, improve the balance of payments/trade deficit and thus the economy generally and all the other good things about EVs. If we lose here, the bad guys will not stop. They will try to kill the California LEV/EV rules altogether!!! In D.C.
