I thought I had: I quoted your suggestion that people be prevented from
smoking when Patrick had suggested that although he disapproved of
smoking, he granted others the right to do it.  You extended this to
suggesting that people be prevented from overeating.  If I
misunderstood, forgive me.  If you do, if fact, hold that others have
the right to undermine their health any way they wish (without, of
course, affecting the health of others), then welcome to the club of the
sane and tolerant.

I haven't been able to follow the entire thread, as my service provider
has had problems with the news (again), but assures me that this will no
longer happen. I did, however, get the same impression as Patrick, to
whom you replied - I know this, as he emailed me about my posting.  Your
posting would seem to have been ambiguous, at best.  But since we're on
the same side, let's bury the old hatchet, OK?
