  iSTAR, a company in Canada, has removed dozens of UseNet
  Newsgroups which they have been advised by their ill informed
  lawyers are illegal. No charges have *ever* been laid and
  no court has acted in any way shape or form against anyone.

  In it's actions iSTAR has followed the unfortunate precedent
  and have viewed dubious corporate doss bag of shit lawyer's
  advice as sufficient grounds to censor ALL their clients.
  Once again we see lawyers involved as de facto lawmaker,
  cop, judge and jury. And companies acting on flawed legal
  grounds WITHOUT REGARD to the defense of all of our human
  rights and civil liberties. This is utterly unacceptable.

  Corporate assets take precedence over our rights and
  freedoms as citizens and  we are slowly losing ground in
  the battle over the electronic media. Losing to people
  who put their fucking machines and gross profits over and
  above our interests. People who would control our every
  move, monitor our every communication if they could and
  if it meant more money. Fuck them all. 

  We, the people, will have to resist this ongoing slide
  into full blown censorship. We will have to do this 
  actively, by circumventing all and any attempts to shut
  down communications in very public displays of resistance.
  iSTAR and all the other narrow minded money obsessed and
  fundamentally unintelligent organizations will have to
  learn graphically that the interests of a free citizenry
  to knowledge takes precedence over their fucking corporate
  image and assets. A message we shall have to shove down
  their throats - and that means every single citizen, okay
  and not just me. Or else you all get what you deserve:
