There is a sufficient number of people who have a great deal more faith in
the TFNs future than this article implies. Personally, THOSE are the
people I'd like to see running the TFN.

It seems to me that if the situation were really all this hopeless then
you would not be to able post to quite so many of the news groups you have
posted to here Bob. Perhaps a note of thanx to those people would not be
to far out of line? I would think that some one running for the Board of
Directors would be a little more supportive. It has certainly been
interesting to hear the other views on this subject over the past while.
The majority of views I've heard are not consistant with this article.

I don't recall the mailing list or news letter being on the adjenda at
the last board meeting. Any particular reason for that? But then again,
even if it was, there were far more pressing matters discussed and
resolved in a manner far more proffessional than I would have expected
from reading posts such as this and other literary works by yourself.

The news letter has been suggested by another member and think it is an
excellent idea. But not as an independant effort by someone who's had his
TFN account indefinately suspended for behaviour that raised concern about
whether or not you were breaking the law.

Freedom of speach is a righteous principle to be sure but with any freedom
comes a certain level of responsibility. Your postings both public news
groups and private email have certianly left considerable doubt in my mind
about your ability to handle the responsability of a TFN News Letter.

The information flow and identity you find lacking might be more visible
to you if you joined the rest of us instead of fighting us and wern't
quite so antagonistic.

You've talked about some great ideas in the last while Bob. I think you
could be a great asset to the TFN. But I for one don't appriciate being
told to (Quote) "Fuck Off Ian. You bore me" in responce to my request that
you not post off topic postings. And any one who displays the lack of
discression that you did in posting the article that cost you your TFN
membership does not instill great confidence in your ability to display
the level of responsibility required to help bring the TFN to any sort of
prosperous future.

I would ask that you reply to this publicly if you choose to at all, Your
choice, but if you're going to repond the same way the last time I called
you on something, do it publically or don't do it at all. If I get the
same nonsence again. I may, at my discretion, publish it.

Ian Casey.
