Restaurants in Houston are now free to go non-smoking. Still, I must
breathe smoke almost every time I go out to a restaurant. Personally, I
don't care a hoot why a restaurant chooses to allow smoking. The result to
me is the same. Without legislation, the bulk of restaurants allow
smoking. So in this case, as much as I find government intrusion
distasteful, I am in favor of no-smoking in restaurants and other public
enclosed spaces.
