Wait a minute. If they have to pay mexican illegals $9.00 but they 'could' 
pay locals $6.00, how so? Do you mean that they would have to pay $9.00 for 
locals minus $3.00 for taxes, social security and unemployment taxes which 
gives locals a net $6.00? No wonder the job wouild be more attractive to 
illegals, they make more money because they pay no taxes. Is that your 
point?

But you must have known that the harvest would be hard physical labor, 
otherwise you have never gotten your hands calloused before. Was this the 
first time you tried physical labor? You might be from up North and have a 
romantic view of hard labor. It is not fun, has a low market value and is 
mostly suitable for example, for young people trying to work through 
college. But now it is just another labor market for low IQ illegal aliens. 
I would encourage the former as it is good for the economy and the country. 
As to the latter I am adamantly opposed. Many people in my younger years 
helped finance college with the Christmas tree harvest. But they paid the 
taxes, didn't drain the society by overloading the schools and emergency 
rooms and they contributed net positive to society.

The market value of which is a tax-free $9:00/hr, more for tax-paying 
Americans who, due to tax laws being enforced upon them alone, could never 
hope to receive the equivalent.
