Earlier this year, many people expressed an interest in starting an amateur
radio club at Duke. We do hope that many students will be involved in this
organization, but in order to get things rolling, we will be having our first
meeting this Thursday, January 8th. This is before most students will be
returning to campus. It will be held at 5pm in room 106 in section D of the
Levine Science Research Center.

Talk-in will be on 145.450 and the new Duke repeater: 147.590 and a negative
offset of 1 Mhz to 146.590 with a PL tone of 67.0.

Please send mail to me, lenore@cs.duke.edu, if you plan to attend, would
like to attend, but cannot, or if you have no interest in participating now
or in the future.

Also, please pass this on to any other Duke hams or potential hams who might
be interested.

Thanks, and my apologies for the short notice!
