Guns are protected by the 2nd Ammendment, in the same way that free speech
and freedom of the press are. Even if these freedoms do have negative side
effects, they are still protected. Illegal aliens on the other hand are
just criminals. Clinton and then Bush drastically lowered the number of
workplace inspections that are done looking for illegal aliens. This, and
requiring proof of a right to work, is the best way to prevent illegal
aliens from getting a job and therefore from coming to the U.S.. Bush has
also refused to hire the number of Border Patrol officers that Congress has
approved. He recently referred to the Minuteman volunteers on the Arizona
border as vigilanties.

All the states are required by law to educate illegal aliens. In Texas,
illegal aliens get in-state tuition when attending state colleges. States
are also required to treat them for emergency health conditions. Note that
having a baby counts as an emergency so you get to pay that too. These
babies are called "anchor babies" because they will be offered U.S.
citizenship when they turn 18. They also will be eligable for welfare
payments and health care. Parkland Hospital in Dallas delivers more babies
per year (16,000) than any hospital in the world except for one in India.
85% of the mothers there do not speak English. Counties in Texas are given
an option of wheter to treat illegal aliens for non-emergency health
conditions. Some do, some don't. Dallas is a "sanctuary city", meaning
that the city council has forbidden city employes from cooperating with ICE
(Immigration Customs Enforcement).

I pay around $5,000 per year in county and school taxes. Any money I saved
by hiring illegal aliens would be more than offset by the costs associated
with them. My experience has been that they do shoddy work so they aren't
worth it if even if they work for free. I don't think the consumer sees all
of the savings that come from illegal aliens working so cheaply. Employers
such as roofing contractors are going to stuff as much of that savings into
their own pockets as possible.
