Well, son of a gun. GeeDub gets it wrong again! What a shocker.
Of course ther real story is that his ventriloquists got caught trying
to pull some wool. President Rummy Cheney following up on their
continued success at bullshitting the American press and public, tried
the same thing against the world and quickly found that the world
isn't quite so willing to fall into line.

So it's back to square one in the whitehouse effort to manufacture
some facts to support there personal war on Iraq. While the rest of
us are still waiting for those in the know to leak out all the various
-real- reasons these wingnuts really want to tear up the mid-east.
Yes, oil of course, and the petty personal goal of one-upping the old
man etc. But there are many and each of the chicken hawks is in this
snakepit for his own reasons. We have yet to be given a valid one for
the rest of us to send our kids into such a mess, and to decimate our
economy as well.

"Burke said there were Three Estates in Parliament; but, in the Reporters' Gallery yonder, there sat a Fourth Estate more important than they all. It is not a figure of speech, or a witty saying; it is a literal fact, .... Printing, which comes necessarily out of Writing, I say often, is equivalent to Democracy: invent Writing, Democracy is inevitable. ..... Whoever can speak, speaking now to the whole nation, becomes a power, a branch of government, with inalienable weight in law-making, in all acts of authority. It matters not what rank he has, what revenues or garnitures: the requisite thing is that he have a tongue which others will listen to; this and nothing more is requisite." - Carlyle
