I never said it was law.  I said it was written by many of the same
people who later wrote the Constitution, and therefore was a reflection
of their views on the source of our rights.

So Chamberlain was right to appease Hitler?  His "diplomacy" only
delayed the inevitable long enough for Germany to complete its military
buildup (and the ceding of the heavily industrialized Sudetanland
certainly helped that buildup), thereby needlessly prolonging the war
and costing countless lives.
