You seem to be forgetting something - the "deranged militia wacko" might
themselves be a trained professional marine, or an experienced navy seal...
who's no longer in the service, and who would feel probably not all that bad
against fighting any soldier who foreswore their oath to honor and defend the
US Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
