When our forefathers wrote that every citizen has the right to keep
and bear arms, they WERE refering to "weapons of mass destruction".
Weapons for the purpose of killing another human being.  Human beings
are the threat to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Remember in the 1700's a single shot musket was the most deadly weapon
a person could carry.  They were the "weapons of mass destruction".
If there had been AK-47's back then, they would not have been excluded
just because they are capable of killing human beings.
