well armed.  Therefore, some people will use weapons in the commission
of a crime.  Similarly, we readily jump into our SUVs and fly down the
highway at breakneck speeds knowing full well that we have a real chance
of being killed while driving.  And, we know that 40,000 to 50,000
Americans die each year on the highway just going to work, or shopping,
or out to dinner.  That is a huge amount of death!  As many Americans
die in car accidents each year as died in the entire history of the
Vietnam war!  However, do you hear government ELECTED officials calling
for Americans to stay out of those death machines so that they will not
be killed?  NO! Of course not, unless environmentalist wacko al gore
fires up his mouth and screams "The Sky is falling!" about some wacko,
made-up environmental issue.  But, the evil, ELECTED members of our
government do not fear cars and trucks will hinder their control.  They
do fear a public that is highly armed and willing to shoot to maintain
their God Given, Constitutionally Recognized Rights.
 
  Weapon ownership is vital to our freedom.  Aside from the fact that
many people stop would-be attackers, theives, rapists, murderers with
their personal weapon, our real goal is to maintain a balance of power
between the electorate and the elected.  For we all have seen how
dictators and thugs rule over people throughout history past when the
citizens of a nation have no weapons to use against them.  We The People
would have no rights without guns to enforce them.

  You have to wonder why SOME OF OUR ELECTED officials fear an armed
ELECTORATE.  Are they seeking change that the people may find offensive?
  Are they of the type that feels they are above the people and know
better how to control this country, but the old, dirty US Constitution
is getting in their way?  

  We The People had better fear the government that fears our guns!
