The rich prend more, therefore would pay more than the poor if we all 
paid a national sales tax.

So, how would this be "selling out" to the moneyed classes?

By the way, do you hink there's any way to check to see how much those 
bums on the street corners with the "I will work for food" signs are 
paying in income tax? I wonder if they list all of their cash 
contributions (read income) on their 1040?
