"Will work for food" is another form of Self-Employment -  the employment
being holding that sign and collecting cash donations.

I know several self-employed people who do not report all of their
income on their 1040's. One of them owns a 10 acre scrap metal business
complete with electromagnets, crusher, fork-lifts, etc. While he was
married to a member of my family, he never even filed an 1040. What
he does these days, I don't know. I feel certain that he is far from
alone in beating the IRS.

A recent poll conducted by a Pennsylvania company found that the
majority of people favor the Income tax over alternatives. The AP
story seemed to have been "CONDENSED" by the newspaper I read it in.
I read the Austin American-Statesman and the Houston Chronicle.
