Now tell us how : many classes you missed while you were listening to him tell you what you : already know and agree with, while you watched "Delta Force", while you : watched "Wheres Roger" while you harrassed Macdonalds, and while you did : all the other things associated with this event. : Don Wagner To begin with, the majority of the events held this week are in the 11:30-1:30 time slot, so that many students can attend WITHOUT missing class. I am currently trying to stay on top of six lectures this term. It keeps me busy, but does not occupy ALL of my time. I do not think the choice to spend some of my 'free' time involved in events like these makes me any less of a student. And despite any information you may already have had about Shell in Nigeria, the opportunity to learn from someone who has lived there (as opposed to the sometimes unreliable media) is a rare one. And finally, I have found that involvement in groups like culture jammers or the SEC continues to expose me to issues I was not previously aware of, while others may hopefully learn from knowledge I have. I happen to think that this sort of personal growth will be a benefit to me in the future, as will lectures I attend. Adam Fraser
