Does anyone recognize these SIMMs?

I have a pair of 72 pin SIMMs, bought s/hand, as follows@

Each SIMM has eight chips on it (all on one side), each with the
description:
SAMSUNG 109
K4E640411D-JC60
UELK23DB KOREA

Furthermore, each SIMM has a paper sticker as follows:
IRL DEM NE03216C-C4--T6
16X32 EDO 60 64MB
.>;3191101402
Void if Removed

Now I would have expected these to be 64MB each, but having tried them
in both a Dell Optiplex GL 5100 and a Mitsubishi Apricot MS series, I
find that they are only 16MB each.

Is this simply a question of mislabelled SIMMs or is there something
else I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance for any hints.

I think they are 16MB simms. Hope you didn't pay much for them. And if you
got them from a shop, take them back.

perhaps the MB refers to Mega Bits?

It is 64MB RAM.
A quick look at Pentium 1 class motherboard manuals revealed that none of
them mentioned 64MB modules. And another bit of investigation revealed that
64MB RAMs and above require 4x clock. Therefore is the standard boards only
supply 1x clock you will only see 1/4 of the capacity.

These are descibed in my list as 16Mbit x 4bit units, which means
that 8 of them are 16Mbit x 32bit, which equates to 64Mbyte of RAM.

This sticker appears to be correct!

This is not uncommon with some motherboards. Either change the
SIMMs or change the motherboards so that they match!

Try them in a late super socket 7 motherboard and you *may* get
64Mbytes.

OTOH the decode of the part number reads oddly, so they may only
fit a very limited set of units.

     Regards,
           Harry.

Thanks to all who have replied. I will verify with the vendor
tomorrow.
