I need to travel with a PC fitted with a specialist full-length ISA card. But portable PCs with ISA slots don't seem to be sold any more. The only solution seems to be to carry round a docking station, which is both expensive and inconvenient. Especially as docking stations generally fit only the top of the range portables, and they're fast becoming a lot more expensive as manufacturers introduce new models that take PCI cards. Am I the only person that needs to do this? Anyone got any ideas? If I can't find a suitable new machine I'd be very interested in buying secondhand (in good nick) one of the older mains-operated laptops or luggables that have ISA slots. Must be 386 or better and be able to take a maths co-processor. -- Tony Woolf (London area)
