I'm not sure that's true of MacSoup. I've noticed if I download two
newsgroups with a large overlap, it appears that only the unique
articles get downloaded in the second group. Also if I have an inactive
group, articles I download in another group that are cross-posted will
also appear in the inactive one, despite that group not being polled.
