Never the less there seems to be some problem with connecting to the Green ROMP that is not present on the Purple or Red ROMP's. Since the set-up is the same for them all it points to a problem outside my control. What happens is that the connection is not made and I get an error message that there is no carrier signal, though trying a couple of times will usually make the connection. The reason for trying the Green ROMP is that it seems to be the only line to connect at 33600 while both the other connect at 31200 (on a 33.6 modem). Of course I usually use the alternate ROMP's but, returning to the subject, it does mean Demon are not at "100%". Not bad enough to consider changing as I suspect it's still a good service when compared with other ISP's. ps Sorry for converting a general mac subject into an ISP specific thread.
