> And hopefully to replace that reknowned shithole called > Wembley. Exactly, so what is the point in having a second 'Wembley' when you can replace the current one. > Shaggy, you`re talking bollocks, mate. Since when is Sydney > the capital of Aus ? Since when is LA the biggest city in > the US ? Since when have the IOC given the Olympics to any > country for anything other than political reasons ? No, Nick, you're talking bollocks. When did I ever mention the size of the city being important and what the hell have capitals got to do with it. As you well know, Sydney has a lot more to offer than Canberra to the tourist in much the same way as London has a lot more to offer than Birmingham. Political reasons obviously come into the IOC's decision over the Olympics but the siting of a new national stadium is also going to be down to political reasons. > >It would be a disaster if the National Stadium went anywhere except London. > Not parochial at all, are you Shaggy ? Nope, I'm not actually. SHAGGY
